Hire an Intern!

Are you looking for a qualified intern in the area of computational linguistics?

The UW Master of Science in Computational Linguistics program is always on the lookout for companies who'd like to hire our students for internships requiring natural language and data science skills.

Our Graduates Are Driving Innovation

In our program, students learn the skills required to understand, scope and implement solutions to the text and speech processing problems driving innovation throughout the tech world. Graduates from the UW Master of Science in Computational Linguistics program have gone on to raise the bar at companies of all sizes, including Amazon, Google and Microsoft.

Internship Requirements

Internship sites must be able to:

  • Provide at least 200 hours of natural language processing-related work over a four-month period
  • Allow the student to complete a post-internship report that describes the work done during the internship (the student and faculty can sign nondisclosure agreements if needed)
  • Complete a post-internship evaluation of the student's performance

Internships need not be paid, but because our students' skills are in high demand, unpaid positions are less likely to draw interest.
